                   Edward Ventris married Mary Brewse in Little Wenham, Suffolk, England.2 Edward Ventris was baptized on 10 February 1619 in Little Shelford, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He was the son of Edward Ventrous and Francis (?).1 Edward Ventris was educated in Grendan, Northamptonshire, England, by Mr Shilbourne.2 He was matriculated on 23 April 1636 in Caius College, Cambridge.2 He was admitted at Gray's Inn 2 November 1638.2 He died before 23 July 1649.2

                   Peyton Ventris was buried in St Nicholas, Ipswich, Suffolk, England.2 He was born in November 1645 in Wenham Hall,, Suffolk, England.1 He was the son of Edward Ventris and Mary Brewse.1 Peyton Ventris was matriculated in 1661 in Jesus College, Cambridge.2 He was admitted to Middle Temple on 3 February 1663. He was called to the bar in 1671. He became the M.P. for Ipswich in 1689.2 He was knighted on 31 October 1689.2 He died on 6 April 1691 at age 45.2
