     Thomas Ivett was also known as Ivatt.1 He was born on 10 May 1821 in Eastrea, Cambridgeshire, England.2 He was the son of William Ivett and Ann Lenton.3 Thomas Ivett married Charlotte Rider, daughter of Thomas Rider and Mary Lofts. In the 1851 Census, Thomas Ivett shows as principal resident at Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire, England. He and Charlotte Rider immigrated on 19 July 1852 to Moreton Bay, Queensland, Australia, with Susan Ivett, Mary Ivett and Ann Ivett aboard the Argyle (Ivatt, Thomas - 30 - Labourer - Cambridgeshire - Wn Ann father living in Cambridgeshire - CofE - both (read & write) - no relatives in colony - good health - no complaints.
Ivatt, Charlotte - 31 - Cambridgeshire - Mary Thos Ryder father living in Cambridgeshire - CofE - both - no relatives in colony - good health - no complaints.).1 Thomas Ivett died on 1 December 1860 in Queensland, Australia, at age 39.4
