Handbag challenge

'How about drawing the things in your purse?' said Karen on the Everyday Matters discussion list. Never one to turn down a challenge, I began. The Poet laughed at me and said that there are not enough pages in my notebook. He is probably right because I ran out of space on the page before I ran out of junk. What is here is a representative sample of the sort of things that I cart around with me every day. I must remember to leave the bag in the car the next time I visit the chiropractor because he is sure to blame it for my back problems.

An admirable stash, Robyn, and very well drawn. I'm going to start on my bag contents soon. Your concern about the chiropractor is valid. After suffering weeks of neck and shoulder pain radiating up into my ear, I got worried that it might be something Bad and got up my nerve to go to a doc. The most likely diagnosis: pursitis. I am so embarrassed. When we went to a farmers market lately, my dh asked one of the vendors if they'd put my purse on their scale. It was over nine pounds. You are going to be amazed when you see the amount of junk I lug around.
