Photo Friday 'Soft' challenge

In Berrima, in the the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, is a 19th century sandstone courthouse where the first trial by jury in the colony was conducted.

Hard up against the wall, just outside the door, I found this little purple flower, softening the severe aspect of the building.

Robyn, you have a great eye---and your brain isn't too bad, either. What a great response to that challenge.

Your little purple flower is a bad bulb weed in my garden that looks better now I have seen its softness.

The leaves look like clover leaves. The stone behind it is a nice contrast.

Very pretty little plant - looks like an oxalis?

Yes - you are right about it being a weed, but you have to admire its determination :-) Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so 'they' say.
