love the colors and subject is done quite well I think. I know oil is, or can be, a difficult medium, say vs. acrylic paints. I have never worked with pastels but would lilke to try. I tried oils many years ago and felt rather impatient with the process, but that was then. Anyway, my comment is Yay! I think you did a great job on this subject! Thanks for sharing. Elaine

Love the colors! I find pots and cups and shapes hard to do in colored pencil, so I can imagine how mine would appear in oil. Maybe I need to find a teacher.

This is really nice! I love the colors, especially the purple in the shadow (and on up onto the shadow side of the pot, I believe!) I finally broke down and got a set of oil paints just the other day after saying one too many times, "this would look great as an oil painting." Of course, I haven't acutally gotten around to DOING one ... Keep it up -- you're an inspiration!
