ala Kandinsky

ala Kandinsky

I have been doing marking for our public examinations until 9:00 at night following a full day of teaching and have been at it for the last two weeks, including all day Saturday. I am more or less in zombie state now. Last night was the first time I have been to art class in two week. It was such a relief to just sit and draw for two hours instead of trying to work out the writing of some over anxious 17 year old and finally finding that the kid was really hiding a lack of knowledge of the subject behind the poor penmanship.

Anyway, I am sure that I used a black and white photocopy of a plate from a book of Kandinsky's work as a starting point for this drawing but, try as I might, I cannot find a copy of it out there in cyberspace. Did I just dream Kandinsky? Did I really do this drawing? Do I really exist? Ahhh! Now there is a question!
